Late
Yikes my lights just flickered…anyhow as I eluded to a couple days ago I spent St. Patty’s weekend in Victoria with Dave and Steve. It was unbelievable out there, so much so we are all thinking it would be a great place to settle down and find work. Steve already has the foot up on us being that he lives out there already. So we got there late Thursday and grabbed a bite to eat at the pub down the hill before heading back to Steve’s to crash. The next day we headed downtown and grabbed lunch and hit some great stores, the irish store and the amazing tobbacconists, we ate lunch in a neat little italian place before dave and i headed for a walk by the shore. It was pretty cool to get rained on mid March rather then snowed on. That night we quickly met up with the summit crew but since the bar we planned to go to was full the three of us buggered off to the house party we had been invited to. It was a great party and I met some unique people, including a Suzuki. Saturday we went and visited Mac and her baby and roommate and she has a pretty great place. That evening we had to attend a fundraiser dance showcase and all I can say is “throw a stone”. This was followed by a crazy night at a kareoke bar and cop beatings at denny’s. Sunday I was the only one up so I went for a long rollerblade and enjoyed the amazing day. When I got back I called home to find out that there was almost 3 feet of snow while I was gone, god damn. So I am back and job hunting as it is becoming more evident that my job is a crapshoot. I may have a new one already but the camp thing could be a problem…decisions suck. more later.
