I have sent this link to a few of you already but I thought it would be a great entry for Wired Wednesday. The site is called The Free Information Society and they have compiled a page of MP3’s. But not just any MP3’s, these are historical sounds, some of the best speakers of our time.Check it out here: Historical Sound

Today will be a double whammy as I have two stories to share. The first is about the nectar of the gods…alcohol. The following says it all: “For men who drink alcohol, the most healthy way they can do that is to drink frequently, but only in small amounts.” However the same cannot be said for women…suprised?
Read about it here…Daily Drinks
The second story is about the sad sad fans here in Edmonton. They haven’t had a team fluke its way into the playoffs in a number of years and now that they have made it to the finals the true idiots are coming out of the woodwork.

Yes it is in fact time for another segment of Wired Wednesday, but this week it is going to be a video clip rather then a song. On the jeep forum there is a thread about the great science experiment of mentos in diet cola. Here is a link to one of the video clips. Enjoy.Click to watch clip

This week our story is from the west coast. A boy, seen below, swam from Alcatraz to San Fran Aquatic Park and he is only 7 years old. Unfreaking believable. Wasn’t that section of water supposedly unswimmable hense the reason the prison was built out there? Well he isn’t the first youth to make the swim, as the article states a 9 year old boy made the swim last year.
Here is the story about the seven year old
And here is the webpage for the nine year old
