Jeep update

So I have been busy with my jeep, or at least I have been busy planning for my jeep. She had the left front parking light die. At first I assumed it was just a bulb but when I removed the bulb I realized the contacts in the socket had corroded away. So finally yesterday I went to pick and pull and found the socket needed, thanks to a dodge neon. Other repairs that are needed are a new radiator in the spring, new tires in the fall, work the dents out of the fender, and get my addons. I will write up my wish list later this week.

Only a week late

I had planned to post on Monday but forgot. Then I worked far too much and Friday night was Bryan’s Bday party. Yesterday was spent with auto repairs and hockey and feeling like shit from lack of sleep. Today was more Xmas stuff with the family and now blogging.

I will write up a seperate post about the jeep and whats been going on with her.  Work has been pretty good, I finally feel like I am settling in. The boys are opening up to me and are actually listening to what I am saying, not just what is required of  them. My coworkers are providing me lots of support and making things fun. It will be tough to make the decision about quiting for uni next spring but I still have a few months before that comes up.

I should also let you know that I have taken the first big step towards my education degree. I have applied at three different universities in Ontario. U of Ottawa,Queens, and WLU. I have one more to apply to next month and then I play the waiting game.

Bryan’s Bday party was fun. It was nice to relax and have a few beverages and not have to worry about a thing. I crashed early but it was still good to see people and meet a bunch of new people.  I am going to try and get back into posting regularily, in fact I am going to put a post it on my mirror to remind me. Type at you soon.

Been Busy

That’s right I have a full time job. You already knew this. What you didn’t know is that I had been working the two long weeks of shifts these past two weeks. Last week was a full set of afternoons and this week was a full set of days. I should have made a few posts before work last week but I never got around to it and this week I was out of the house at 6am and by the time I got home and cooked supper etc., I was wiped. As I am right now. I will try to give a better update tomorrow and maybe add some content…we’ll see.
