Race to the Cup
This is a bit late coming but my picks for the conference finals were Vancouver vs San Jose and Ottawa vs Buffalo. So far its looking like this could happen. Vancouver did not play their game vs Dallas, except for in the last game. They finally decided that they should work the corners and get traffic out front. This series vs the Ducks is looking like it will be a scary one. Vancouver is hurting. Literally they have way too many injuries. Salo, Mitchell, Biescka and Cooke. That is not the group of guys you want missing games or playing injured. Hopefully they will get healthy soon and Luongo can hold the Ducks at bay until they do. Tonights game will be the game that sets the series. I have a feeling the winner of tonight wins the series. As for my hockey pool at work, I am right in the middle of the standings, so I still have a chance. Go Canucks Go!!
